Well here's the other girls I made... I like these mammy hats also. But these all are sold now from a pre-sale so I'll get some more made up for offering!!!!
Jean ~ I love your walnut head dolls, they are so awesome. I collect black walnuts in the fall to make my stain for my handwoven baskets. I hope you sell the pattern for these eventually ~ if not I'm going to get some of yours when you get more done. Have a wonderful evening. Pam
Hey girl! Where did they all go!!!?? I must have one please. Send me an invoice, and if I may order one in simple colors for my Deedee. Did you know she and her 17 brothers and sisters grew on on what was called Black Walnut Farm?
Love the walnut head dolls. I was raised in Stockton, Mo noted for the black walnut capital of the world. We had a Black Walnut Festival, parade, crowning of Miss Black Walnut. Memories.....Ya'll have a wonderful day.
WALNUT HEAD DOLLS... WHAT A NOVEL IDEA.. WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF IT. MY MOTHER-IN-LAW HAD A GIANT WALNUT TREE IN HER YARD AND WE LOVED THE MEAT FROM THESE NUTS. BUT BOY... WHAT A PAIN TO GET THE STAIN OFF YOUR HANDS.. NO WONDER IT STAINS PRIM DOLLS SO NEAT.
